I am THRILLED that it is finally warm and sunny outside again! There are so many great events coming up in the DC area that are dog friendly – linking some of the ones that caught my eye in case they’re of interest to you too!
This Saturday, April 20, Oak Hill Cemetery in Georgetown is open from 9-4 to explore with your pups. They only do this twice a year and the grounds are gorgeous – definitely a great way to enjoy the weather this weekend: https://oakhillcemeterydc.org/event/spring-dog-day-2024/
Nats fans, the next Pups in the Park event is Tuesday, April 23! The Dodgers are in town, so if you want to see Shohei Ohtani in person, it’s a good game to catch. You need a special ticket for the game, but proceeds benefit the Humane Rescue Alliance: https://www.mlb.com/nationals/tickets/specials/pups-in-the-park
I love heading to the National Cathedral’s Flower Mart every year, and it’s coming up soon – May 3 and 4 on the Cathedral grounds. If you haven’t been, there’s truly something for everyone – over 65 boutique booths, an antique carousel, and a huge array of garden plants, orchids, bonsai, floral arrangements, and cut blooms for sale. Hope you guys are having a great start to your spring, and hope to see you soon!
