Charlotte is originally from Birmingham, Alabama but has lived in the DMV long enough to call it home. In addition to her spending time with her family (which includes two hound dogs and a cat), she loves to sew and work with textiles. Her first job in graduate school was managing the rabies vaccination database in New Orleans, where she learned about different breeds and got involved with animal rescue. She loves being outside and taking long walks in the DC area.
