Danessa recently graduated from the University of Virginia and is now pursuing her Master’s Degree in Public Health and Health Policy at George Mason University. While she may be new to DC, she’s certainly no stranger to having animals by her side. Throughout her life, Danessa has found every opportunity to work with and care for animals. From tending to horses on a farm, helping her mom foster kittens through a local animal shelter, and spending time with dogs on Shelter Skip Days, she’s always found a way to lend a hand and make sure the animals around her are happy and well cared for. Her hands-on experience has taught her that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs, and she loves getting to know each one! 

When she’s not caring for your pets, you can find Danessa exploring DC with friends, reading the next book off her TBR list, or going on nature walks. She can’t wait to make some new four-legged friends around the city and give your pets all the love, care, and attention they need!
