Katie is a lifelong animal lover who recently began a Bachelor's in Zoology. She grew up on her family's horse farm in central Virginia. Her and her three cats (Twitch, Trixie, and Peach) recently moved to DC this summer. 

Katie is a trained vet assistant and has a cherished place in her heart for special needs animals. She believes its important to meet every pet where they are, respect their boundaries, and ensure they always feel safe. 

In her free time, she enjoys video games, thrifting and trying out new recipes.
