Lara is a D.C. born Virginia native. She has worked in Education, health care and is an avid reader and fantasy and folk tale author. She has worked with and taken care of animals her whole life including working on her cousin’s farm in rural New York. She loves to explore nature and go on adventures with her big black lab. 

Lara has a passion for connecting with people and animals and really loves watching stories unfold, in people’s lives and their pets! She believes animals have so much to teach us about ourselves and the world.
