Lilly grew up on a farm on the eastern shore of Maryland at the top of the Chesapeake Bay. She has always been surrounded by animals big and small from horses and chickens to cats and dogs. From helping birth two litters of puppies to raising stray kittens that pop up on the farm, Lilly loves spending time with and caring for animals. Lilly graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in journalism and minor in innovation and entrepreneurship. She worked as a local news reporter for a year before she took a leap of faith to wrangle horses out West for the summer and then recently moved to D.C. to explore new opportunities. Lilly loves to paint, write, read, listen to music, spend time in nature, and connect with people and animals any chance she can.
