Sim G.
HOME & PET CARE SPECIALIST

Sim is a lifelong animal-lover and has spent almost a decade working in veterinary medicine as an ER/ICU vet tech. She developed a passion for emergency medicine while working as an Adoptions Coordinator for the D.C. animal rescue league, and is even certified in dog & cat CPR! She also has experience caring for a variety of pets (including exotics like reptiles, birds, pocket pets and rabbits) and is clinically-trained to work with pets who have special needs and/or require medications.

She has also completed service projects with Canine Companions for Independence and Fidos for Freedom, helping to foster and train assistance dogs for veterans & individuals with disabilities. She uses positive reinforcement, lots of encouragement and fear-free practices to make sure your fur-baby has the best possible experience while you're away!

Sim is a DMV-native, proud UMD alum (go terps!) and loves to travel in her free time. She's got two chonky orange cats at home who enjoy binge-watching Netflix with her on the weekends. When she's not out walking pups, you'll usually find Sim caring for hospitalized pet patients at one of the ER hospitals in the area or planning her next island getaway.
