Born and raised in Washington, DC, Uchenna has spent his career working in STEM education and program management. He is currently the senior manager of STEM programs at the American Nuclear Society, where he oversees a suite of K-12 programs focused on nuclear energy and technology. Along with many years as a science and French teacher, Uchenna has spent significant time working within the philanthropic industry as a grantmaker and within the edtech and study abroad industries as a program director.

Uchenna is a graduate of Sidwell Friends School and Bowdoin College, is fluent in French, and is an avid rock climber and climbing guide/instructor.
